Founded in 2001 after the brutal murder of Shannon McNamara at Eastern Illinois University, Erin Weed knew it was her mission to educate herself and others in hopes of preventing other violent crimes. Not a martial artist or having any previous experience in self-defense, Erin set out on a personal journey to find and train with the best violence prevention experts in the world. Taking what she learned, plus a dash of humor and empowerment, she began speaking at schools, colleges and corporations.
